Duties
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to load, unload, and move products efficiently within the warehouse
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying shipments against purchase orders and packing lists
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately using order pickers, RF scanners, and warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Stock shelves and organize inventory using proper warehouse distribution techniques to optimize space and accessibility
- Utilize warehouse management systems such as AS400 and MRP software to track inventory levels and update records in real-time
- Ensure proper packaging of products for shipment, adhering to safety standards and quality guidelines
- Support order fulfillment processes by performing order picking, packing, and loading tasks with precision and speed
Requirements
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or in logistics is highly preferred
- Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely; certification is a plus
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, AS400, and MRP software for inventory control
- Strong basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, order picking & packing processes, and stock replenishment techniques
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items safely, and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail combined with good organizational skills to maintain a clean and safe workspace
