- Lead annual Workday compensation events, including merit, bonus, and market cycle planning.
- Create and maintain documentation supporting enterprise business applications.
- Apply business theories, concepts, and principles to recommend and draft solutions for process improvement.
- Provide support and resolution assistance for escalated production and process issues.
- Utilize advanced troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve complex errors.
- Identify required resources and collaborate to resolve issues efficiently.
- Use appropriate Change Control methods to implement system solutions.
- Serve as a liaison between business areas and Information Services teams.
- Support departmental efforts to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Evaluate and review recommendations for business process improvements.
- Design and execute effective plans for process change.
- Review and validate work completed by junior analysts.
- Exercise sound judgment and adhere to escalation procedures in accordance with IT service level agreements.
- Ensure outstanding end-user support through proactive monitoring of SLAs and effective incident management.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide customer-centered solutions.
- Adhere to and promote continual adoption of change management policies and procedures.
- Model exceptional customer service behavior, including timely and effective follow-up with customers.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 5 years of experience in a related job discipline.
- Advanced configuration experience in Workday Compensation, including base pay, allowances, bonus, merit, and one-time payment plans.
- Proven expertise managing Workday Compensation review cycles, including setup, testing, deployment, and post-cycle analysis.
- Strong understanding of Workday Advanced Compensation frameworks, including eligibility rules, compensation plans, and package design.
- Hands-on experience with Compensation Reports, Calculated Fields, Custom Reports, and Workday Report Writer.
- Experience with Workday security specific to compensation roles and access controls.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex compensation data and identify process optimization opportunities.
- Proven success in leading configuration testing, UAT, and production validation for compensation changes.
- Understanding of HR data governance
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical configurations.
- Experience partnering with HR, Finance, and IT teams to support compensation cycles and strategy alignment.
- Workday certifications in Core HCM and/or Compensation preferred.
- Familiarity with Workday Reporting, Prism Analytics, or Workday Extend is a plus.
- Experience mentoring junior analysts or providing peer review for configuration and process documentation.
- Broader Workday Total Rewards experience, with the ability to support and collaborate across Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, and Absence modules to ensure end-to-end process alignment.
- Proven success partnering with cross-functional teams to maintain data integrity, eligibility rules, and reporting consistency across all Total Rewards areas.
