Summary
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze, design, implement, and maintain complex systems utilizing business and administrative applications development tools for on-premise and cloud-based technologies.
- Plan and conduct system testing and document testing outcomes.
- Develop technical designs and participate in technical and code reviews.
- Design, write, and prepare complete user and technical documentation.
- Utilize the development lifecycle process and documentation to implement and support system solutions.
- Manage the design, development, and implementation of new and enhanced application requests.
- Design and develop ERP system interfaces and integration points.
- Identify appropriate resources needed to complete small, medium, and large projects.
- Serve as project leader or consultant in the design and implementation of complex information systems.
- Communicate between internal and external parties on project-related issues and developments.
- Participate in developing and managing project plans.
- Determine the scope and complexity of projects.
- Work with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
- Consult with end-user community to develop requirements for system solutions.
- Prioritize assigned tasks and projects based on directives from supervisor or customers.
- Provide procedures for technical development/configurations and code review.
- Provide direct technical support and second-level problem resolution assistance for production and process issues.
- Troubleshoot and decipher error messages to identify and resolve problems.
- Identify required resources to resolve issues and apply appropriate Change Control methods to implement solutions.
- Proactively identify potential issues and conceptualize solutions.
- Serve as a resource person and liaison between Cincinnati Children's departments and Information Services.
- Support departmental efforts to improve customer satisfaction.
- Evaluate and monitor system performance and functionality to avoid potential issues.
- Gather information for future development needs or feasibility studies.
- Maintain and adhere to departmental on-call procedures and SLA requirements.
- Ensure outstanding end-user support is provided through ongoing monitoring of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for incident management.
- Collaborate with other areas to ensure customer-centered incident management and support.
- Adhere to and promote continual adoption of change management policies and procedures.
- Model outstanding customer service behavior, including timely and effective follow-up with customers.
- Mentor and train other analysts and participate in interviewing new resources.
- Participate in vendor education and relationship management.
- Develop and maintain positive internal and external relationships within Cincinnati Children's.
- Motivate team members and encourage collaboration and teamwork.
- Foster a positive team environment and develop collaborative professional relationships.
- Participate in evaluating systems and technology to recommend and apply appropriate computer technology to complex problems.
- Maintain expertise in several moderately complex Cincinnati Children's computer-based systems.
- Develop and maintain a global perspective of all Cincinnati Children's information systems and technology.
- Represent Cincinnati Children's in development and needs analysis to ensure optimal resolution of user department needs.
- Participate in short-range planning and provide input to long-range planning.
- Spends less than 50% of time managing the work of 0–5 reports.

- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 5 years of work experience in a related job discipline
- Proven experience managing and maintaining Workday security configurations and access controls.
- Expertise in Workday role-based access management and security group configurations.
- Strong understanding of compliance standards and ability to conduct regular audits of security roles and permissions.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve security-related issues within Workday.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional and technical teams to implement and maintain security policies.
- Commitment to continuous improvement by staying current with Workday updates and security best practices.
- Ability to develop and deliver training materials and awareness programs promoting system security and compliance.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate data, identify trends, and generate actionable security insights.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly convey complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience ensuring data integrity and safeguarding sensitive employee and organizational information within Workday.
