Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented accountant to join our finance team. The Accountant will support the finance team by performing daily accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associates or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2 Years of experience
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently with attention to details
- Strong analytical ability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with standard suite of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
- Knowledge of JD Edwards/Hubble reporting software a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and analyze the general ledger and prepare appropriate accrual and adjusting journal entries in accordance with GAAP
- Assist with the Accounts Payable/Accounts receivable processes
- Assist in the month end, quarter end, and year-end closing processes
- Analyze inventory transactions
- Review invoice billings and the respective coding on a timely basis
- Identify and release weekly payments of outstanding payables
- Assist in the compilation of information for the year-end audit
- Collaborate with others to support overall company goals and objectives
- Special projects as assigned by management
