About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and accomplished Field Solutions Sales Manager to join our team in the Permian and/or Delaware basins. In this pivotal role, you will proactively build and nurture sales relationships with both existing and prospective clients, primarily through on-site visits to oil and gas production facilities and compressor stations. Leveraging a solutions-based approach, you will drive repeat business and unlock new opportunities by offering innovative field performance optimization solutions tailored to the oil and gas upstream and midstream sectors, including production optimization, emissions control, real-time data monitoring, and visual automation. Your focus will be on generating new leads, achieving maximum sales profitability, and expanding market penetration within your assigned territory. The ideal candidate will bring established industry connections, extensive technical field experience, and reside within the territorial area.
Essential Job Functions:
- Proactively establishes, develops, and maintains strong business relationships with current and prospective customers in the Permian and/or Delaware basins to drive sales of field performance optimization solutions (e.g., production optimization (through fluids separation, vapor recovery units, combustion, dehydration systems, etc.), emissions control, real-time data monitoring, and visual automation).
- Conducts in-person visits to oil and gas production facilities and compressor stations, supplemented by telephone calls and presentations, to engage existing and prospective clients.
- Navigates client organizations to influence key decision-makers by leveraging technical expertise, commercial acumen, and solutions-based selling strategies.
- Researches and identifies prospective customers, assessing their potential through market analysis and industry insights specific to the oil and gas upstream and midstream sectors.
- Gathers and analyzes market intelligence on competitors, industry trends, and emerging needs within the oil and gas market to inform sales strategies.
- Demonstrates self-motivation with a proactive, results-oriented approach to generating leads and closing sales.
- Swiftly addresses and resolves customer challenges, ensuring high satisfaction and fostering repeat business.
- Executes corporate sales strategies with precision, targeting high-level decision-makers within current and prospective client organizations.
- Develops and implements a personalized sales plan to maximize profitability and market penetration within the assigned territory.
- Provides management with detailed oral and written reports on customer needs, challenges, interests, competitive activities, and opportunities for new solutions or services.
- Collaborates with other sales team members to ensure seamless communication and coordination, supporting overall organizational success.
- Stays informed on product applications, technical services, market conditions, and competitive activities by engaging with industry literature, trends, and innovations.
- Represents the company at trade shows, industry conferences, and conventions to promote solutions and build industry connections.
- Adheres strictly to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Maintains a professional and safe working environment during field visits and client interactions.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in the oil and gas upstream or midstream sectors, with a focus on field-based sales or technical solutions.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth in a competitive market.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of oil and gas production processes, including production optimization, emissions control, real-time data monitoring, or automation technologies.
- Connections: Established network of professional relationships within the oil and gas industry, particularly in the Permian and/or Delaware basins.
- Residency: Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the assigned territory (Midland, TX or Carlsbad, NM areas).
- Travel: Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory to visit client sites, including oil and gas production facilities and compressor stations.
- Driver’s license: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for field visits.
- Demonstrated maturity to work independently and in front of groups.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
