Key Duties
- Lead program planning, execution, and delivery to ensure all technical, cost, and schedule requirements are met.
- Manage and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to align program milestones, engineering activities, and manufacturing timelines.
- Oversee program cost accounting, monitor budget performance, and implement corrective actions to maintain financial targets.
- Lead cross-functional teams with diverse skill sets to achieve program objectives and ensure efficient coordination across engineering, manufacturing, and test activities.
- Track system requirements from definition through product completion to ensure alignment with customer and defense-industry standards.
- Review and develop engineering documentation, including drawings, work instructions, and test plans to support program execution.
- Collaborate closely with customers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication, alignment, and successful program outcomes.
- Provide hands-on support and technical oversight for mechanical design and manufacturing processes as needed.
- Prepare and present program status, technical updates, and risk assessments to senior leadership and prime contractors.
Required Skills, Experience, and Education :
- Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. Citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
- Active Secret Clearance (or higher).
- 10 or more years of experience.
- Possess strong defense industry experience with a customer focus and knowledge that includes the Department of War, the Army, the United States Space Force (USSF), and the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).
- Experienced leader with proven system engineering discipline.
- Experience tracking system requirements to product completion.
- Experience leading teams of diverse skill sets and backgrounds.
- Experience working in an AS9100 certified manufacturing environment.
- Experience building and maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
- Experience managing program cost accounting.
- Ability to work hands-on with mechanical designs and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to work in a team environment with both customer and subcontractor personnel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to advise senior leadership and prime contractors.
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
