About the Role
As the business enters its next phase of growth, they’re building out an Inside Sales function to support inbound demand and transactional sales. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their sales career who wants exposure to B2B SaaS, industrial technology, and complex customer environments—with clear pathways into BD, Renewals, or full-cycle sales.
Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for all inbound customer interest (web inquiries, demos, contact requests)
- Engage prospects with a consultative, professional approach
- Qualify needs, timelines, and complexity, and route appropriately
- Support simple transactional sales where applicable
- Partner closely with field sales and internal teams to ensure smooth handoffs
- Maintain strong CRM discipline and follow defined inbound SLAs
Qualifications
- 0–2 years of experience in sales, customer service, retail, or similar customer‑facing roles
Required Skills
- Strong communication skills and a customer‑first mindset
- Curiosity, coachability, and comfort in a structured sales environment
- Interest in technology, software, or industrial/manufacturing spaces
- Ability to work hybrid (3 days onsite) in Portland, ME
