Responsibilities
- Deliver prepared dishes promptly from the kitchen to guests' tables, ensuring presentation quality and food temperature are maintained
- Assist with food preparation and plating as needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Handle food safely and follow proper sanitation protocols during all stages of service and food handling
- Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
- Clear tables of used dishes, glassware, and utensils; bus tables promptly to maintain cleanliness and guest comfort
- Support servers with guest needs, including refilling beverages and addressing special requests
- Assist in setting up banquet or event spaces, including arranging tables and serving stations
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management to coordinate service flow and guest satisfaction
- Uphold high standards of hospitality, ensuring guests receive attentive and friendly service throughout their visit
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Experience with banquet service, catering, or hotel guest services is advantageous
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends if required
