- Assist the Quality Assurance team with implementing various quality systems (SQF, Organic, kosher, RSPO, UTZ, etc.)
- Support the QC Manager on large projects and improve consistency, efficiency, and product quality
- Work towards achieving and maintaining GFSI certification
- Implement training based off of audit deficiencies and customer complaints
- Provide support for quality-related training for all departments
- Communicate nonconforming products to appropriate personnel
- Participate in internal audits for compliance with SOPs, GMPs, and regulations.
- Participate actively in technology transfer, method qualification and validation
- Perform all additional Quality Control tasks as required on the production lines Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- HACCP and PCQI Certified
- Bachelor's degree (preferred) Requirements:
- 2-3 years of Strong Regulatory, Recall and Labeling knowledge
- Relevant work experience in a medical device, pharmaceutical, or food processing industry field.
- GMP experience in manufacturing environment
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
- Experienced with GFSI and HACCP Scheme (SQF, BRC)
- 2-3 years supervisory experience (including conducting performance evaluations)
- Good Communication skills
- Working knowledge of safety rules, regulations, and training.
- Attention to details and be vigilant to detect process/product variations
- The ability to solve practical problems or issues and report in a higher level
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
