JOB DESCRIPTION:
Duties:
- Supervise Quality Control staff (inspection, calibration and RMA coordination) for Medin
- Identify best practices in Quality Control and influence successful implementation
- Set priorities for Quality Control Inspectors
- Ensure quality standards are met consistently and quality procedures are followed consistently in Quality Control
- Train Inspectors in procedures and methods
- Act as technical expert and use expert judgment in all aspects of Quality Control including customer specific requirements, visual assessment, relevant standards (e.g., ISO, ANSI) and measurement equipment and methods including calibration
- Contribute to performance assessment of inspectors
- Lead and/or oversee departmental improvement projects as prioritized
- Other Tasks, as assigned
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
On the job training, Knowledge of Microsoft word, Excel, Outlook etc. ISO and cGMP awareness
EDUCATION:
Minimum AS in a Science or Engineering discipline or equivalent work experience.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience including supervisory experience.

Working Conditions: Generally, 100% of work takes place inside an industrial office/warehouse environment. Employees may have exposure to loud noise, including sirens, horns, and tooling. |
