Summary Of Position
Junior Account Executives are in training to become Account Executives. They will do some of the functions of an Account Executive, but on a smaller degree. They will be responsible for new and/or existing business accounts, with the assistance of the Producer and Account Executive (if applicable ). Junior AEs will assist with managing an assigned book of business and build, expand, and solidify relationships with existing clients, act as a resource to address the client's high-level needs.

- Manages an assigned book of business and builds, expands, and solidifies relationships with existing clients.
- Secures existing business and drives the sale of additional services and coverage levels.
- Cultivates relationships with the most senior buyer in the client organization as well as with day-to-day client representatives and buyers.
- Nurture and improve client relations by providing expedited turnaround time for client and team requests and delivering exemplary service.
- Review summary reports of insurance policies with assessment of coverages and improvements submitted by support staff.
- Send the bind order with the final, revised quote to the Producer for review and then to the underwriter asking to bind coverage
- Assist with marketing new and renewal accounts according to company procedures.
- Utilize appropriate agency systems and databases to complete initial information for supplemental applications, following outlined policies and procedures.
- Assist in creating/preparing proposals to present to the client.
- Attend company training, meetings and events as required.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning in commercial property and casualty insurance coverages
- EPIC and CSR24 workflow standards and maintenance of documentation.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask while paying close attention to detail.
- Knowledge of insurance market trends, submission processes and policy coverages.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to de-escalate tense client interactions while providing a timely solution to their concerns.
- 3 years of client management experience working on large commercial accounts.
- P&C licensed.
- CISR, CIC, CRM, ARM, AAI, and/or CPCU designations preferred.
