Hey everyone! This is Thai Viapiana from CI&T's Talent Attraction Team :) At CI&T, we're growing fast and looking for a talented, motivated Senior Data Engineer to join our team. You'll play a crucial role in enhancing and maintaining a data warehouse that consolidates data from acquired entities across multiple ERP platforms for a global healthcare organization.

Project Environment:

Azure SQL Database (data warehouse)

Azure Data Factory (ETL orchestration)

Azure Data Lake (landing zones)

Power BI (reporting layer)

ELT architecture with transformation logic in T-SQL stored procedures

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain ETL pipelines in Azure Data Factory.

Write and optimize T-SQL stored procedures for data transformation.

Enhance dimensional models (star schema) to support new reporting requirements.

Integrate data from multiple ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP Business One, Business Central) and flat file sources.

Manage reference data and dimension tables.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications.

Ensure data quality and consistency across sources with varying structures.

Support Power BI reporting through the semantic layer.

Document data lineage and transformation logic.

Requirements:

Excellent English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking).

Experience working with international clients.

Strong proficiency in T-SQL (stored procedures, CTEs, window functions).

Experience with Azure Data Factory or similar ETL orchestration tools.

Solid understanding of dimensional modeling (star schema, fact/dimension tables).

Experience with Azure SQL Database or SQL Server.

Familiarity with ERP data structures (NetSuite, SAP, or similar).

Ability to work with ambiguous business logic across multiple source systems.

Understanding of Data Quality practices.

Nice to Have:

Experience with Power BI data modeling.

Knowledge of CI/CD for database deployments.

Understanding of Data Governance principles.

Experience in healthcare or PE-backed roll-up environments.
