The CPM will work closely with the Construction & Development leadership and cross-functional teams, and oversee general contractors to ensure high-quality work and that projects are finished efficiently and on schedule.

Job Description
Pay Range: $86,600.00 - $112,000.00
The Construction Project Manager (CPM) will be responsible for planning and overseeing site preparation, construction, and budgeting for new locations and remodels. The CPM will work closely with the Construction & Development leadership and cross-functional teams, and oversee general contractors to ensure high-quality work and that projects are finished efficiently and on schedule.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To, The Following
- Manage GCs and owner subcontractors by collaborating to maintain schedule alignment and mitigate risks, ensuring adherence to processes and compliance with lease, city, and county regulations
- Act as liaison for the full scope of Chuze construction projects, including leading post-mortem analysis with GCs and the Construction team
- Prepare, manage, and communicate budgets for each location to the finance department, comparing them to the original pro forma prepared by the Real Estate Director (RED)
- Lead the Construction Project team, investing in direct reports and fostering a culture of continuous growth through on-the-spot feedback and performance reviews
- Update project management software to support construction and owner-mandated processes, such as regularly scheduled reporting, billing, and confirming final documentation with GCs
- Support the business goal of leading in customer service, culture, and cleanliness by ensuring cross-departmental alignment with Chuze standards
- Engage in the growth and development process by implementing feedback and proactively seeking opportunities for personal growth
- Conduct regular site visits to maintain on-site compliance with building and safety regulations, and conduct initial site surveys
- Other projects and duties as assigned
- 2-4 years of professional experience in Construction Management (fitness facility experience preferred)
- Previous experience leveraging a Project Management Software for commercial construction processes
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Organized, accountable, and able to set, reach, and prioritize goals with attention to detail
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to develop and lead teams in all facets of construction
- Able to prioritize in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Capacity to receive and deliver constructive feedback
- Essential Physical Requirements:
- Touring the club: walking and climbing stairs
- Bending, kneeling, and repetitive arm movement
- Sitting or standing for long periods
- Typing and computer operations
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- Experience with multi-state new build and remodel construction management (preferred)
