What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant/Receptionist position at Churchland Internal Medicine?
As a Medical Assistant with Churchland Internal Medicine, you will work directly with a doctor conducting phlebotomy (lab), clinical and clerical duties.
Primary job Duties:
· Provides excellent customer service.
· Performs general nursing duties as requested by physicians and office managers.
· Call patients to examination room
· Takes vital signs, EKG’s, and documents information in patient’s electronic medical record.
· Administer injection of medications or immunizations in accordance with approved protocols.
· Observe patient for any reaction to medications, immunizations, treatments, and significant incidents.
· Help with pharmacy requests.
· Check patients in and out
· Cross train with other clinical staff
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
