Responsibilities

- Operate cash registers and Point of Sale (POS) systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring proper change is given.
- Conduct product demonstrations as needed to enhance customer engagement and promote sales.
- Maintain knowledge of store products, promotions, and policies to assist customers effectively.
- Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Assist with inventory management by restocking items as needed and reporting discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in operating cash registers and POS systems is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with customers.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Experience with retail math concepts is a plus.
