What are the responsibilities and job description for the Web Experience - College Summer Hire Internship (June & July) position at Church Pension Group Services Corporation?

- Two month Assignment: June 2026 through July 2026
- In-Office, three days a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
- 9am to 5pm ET
- Review and correct inconsistencies in published content in specific website sections for alignment with our editorial style guide
- Support the Phone Number Standardization Continuous Improvement project
- Audit and reorganize CMS Asset Pane folder structure, and rename blocks for easier identification
- Archive expired pages and other types of assets (PDFs, Blocks, Images)
- Test and archive unused or broken Vanity URLs
- Apply expiration date rules uniformly to support better long-term maintenance
- Ensure listing information is complete and up to date for PDF files
- Identify images currently hosted outside the DAM, and replace them with DAM-hosted images (either the same or updated)
- Review and update existing documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Audit the current state GPS content and Forms and Pubs Library, assess and create a plan for rebuilding and retagging
- Meticulous attention to detail, comfortable with repetitive tasks. English written communication and proofreading abilities.
- Basic familiarity with a Content Management System (CMS)(prior experience with WordPress, Drupal, Squarespace, or any CMS is sufficient - not necessarily Optimizely)
- Comfortable using Microsoft 365 digital tools (Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Copilot, etc.)
- Comfortable navigating and learning new web tools.
- Comfortable working independently, following instructions, and asking questions when something is unclear
- Experience with Optimizely CMS and/or a digital asset management platform (DAM).
- Exposure to content strategy, information architecture, or UX writing. Familiarity with basic HTML or web publishing concepts
- Currently enrolled in a BA/BS or Graduate program in: Communications, Digital Media / Digital Communications, Journalism, Library Science / Information Science, MarketingUX Writing or Technical Writing
