Monday - Friday 9:30 pm – 6:00 am
The hourly wage for this position is $23.40, plus $1.00/hour shift dif.
Come join our York, PA facility where we manufacture and distribute products such as A&H Cat Litter, and A&H Laundry Detergent!
Role Summary
This position will be responsible for general utility support of the Distribution Center.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (*denotes essential job functions):
Candidates are required to complete all necessary trainings within the defined introductory period.
Working Conditions
The operations is not in a climate controlled environment. Candidates will be exposed to the seasonal temperature variations. All candidates will be required to abide to all PPE standards and department dress code.

Role Summary
This position will be responsible for general utility support of the Distribution Center.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (*denotes essential job functions):
- Responsible at all times for promoting a safety culture and awareness within their area. Support and adhere to all plant safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Safe operation of all on-site material handling equipment, including floor sweeper/scrubber, etc.
- Empty all trash cans and gaylords as needed. Monitor compliance with facility-wide recycling program.
- Corrugate management including safe operation of all bailing equipment.
- Assistance with all general housekeeping in the warehouse, including assistance with spill clean-up, etc.
- Maintain adequate water in the batteries of all material handling equipment.
- Assist with all housekeeping requirements during equipment preventative maintenance initiatives.
- Maintain the Distribution Housekeeping Log documentation as required per the Distribution Housekeeping Standard Operating Procedure. Sign off and date the log when tasks are completed.
- Complete weekly, monthly, and quarterly housekeeping assignments in accordance with the Distribution Housekeeping Log.
- Assist with the training and certification program as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Six (6) months to one (1) year work experience, and/or equivalent combination of experience and education that could likely provide the required knowledge and abilities needed to perform the job.
- Six (6) months standup forklift experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment preferred.
- Previous experience with WMS preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills – ability to build positive relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Strong communications skills – ability to communicate clearly and concisely in multiple media – verbal, written, etc.
- Must have ability to communicate clearly in English – verbal and written.
- Strong organizational/time management skills.
Candidates are required to complete all necessary trainings within the defined introductory period.
