Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Police Officer role based in Chula Vista, CA. Police Officers are responsible for maintaining public safety through patrolling assigned areas, responding to emergency and non-emergency calls, enforcing laws, and conducting criminal investigations. Other responsibilities include preparing detailed reports, collecting and preserving evidence, making arrests, testifying in court, and actively engaging with the community to ensure safety and build trust.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in law enforcement and police operations
- Strong knowledge of criminal investigations, evidence handling, and related procedures
- Experience in maintaining public safety and enforcing laws
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within diverse teams
- Ability to make informed decisions under pressure and adapt to various situations
- Completion of law enforcement training or equivalent experience, such as as military police, detention deputy, or prior peace officer experience
