Job Summary

Under immediate supervision, performs duties assisting in the operation of a class, a computer lab, or similar learning situations. May perform a variety of clerical or supportive duties; may provide services to students in a language other than English; performs related work as required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: MEETS PROFICIENCY REQUIREMENT BY: • Successfully passing the District’s Instructional Assistant/Student Attendant exam, or • passing CBEST, or • U.S. A.A. Degree or higher verified with transcripts reflecting degree, or • 60 college units verified by transcripts. Anyone with a foreign degree MUST complete Language and Written Portion of exam.
