Job Overview
The incumbent develops, interprets, and implements financial and accounting statements and concepts, or techniques for financial planning and control. Prepares studies, reports, and analyses in areas such as budgets, financial modeling, forecasts, financial plans, governmental requirements, statistical reports, cash flow projections, business forecasts, or other analyses.
This position is located at Stennis Space Center.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
- Performs financial analyses including budgeting, trend analysis, forecasting, correcting and financial modeling. Develops recommendations for information and results; considers and conducts additional analyses as appropriate.
- Assists in collecting budget, midyear forecast and other financial information to provide information about profit and loss.
- Assists in developing and maintaining financial statements using accounting and budgeting software in order to provide financial statements and reports to management and the corporate office.
- Prepares, analyzes and publishes monthly financial rolling forecast with detail to appropriate management and the corporate office.
- Maintains integrity of accounting and budgeting software systems by checking for errors and inconsistencies in compliance of FAR.
- Performs Government 533, Invoicing, development of Indirect Rates.
- Performs other duties asassigned.
Mandatory:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or related field preferred.
- Ten (10) or more years of finance or accounting experience.
- Experience working with generally accepted accounting principles and accounting software.
- Experience with Government 533, Invoicing, Indirect Rates, NASA DRD, Maximo.
- Ability to acquire and maintain government identification/common access card.
- Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner in diversified situations.
- Valid Real ID state issued driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
- Ability to successfully pass any background checks and/or drug testing required on the contract.
- U.S. Citizenship.
