We are looking for a motivated, customer-focused Mainline Service Advisor to join our growing dealership team. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and able to thrive in a fast-paced automotive service environment while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
As a Service Advisor, you will serve as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department — helping ensure repairs and maintenance are completed accurately, efficiently, and with excellent communication throughout the process.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally
- Listen carefully to customer concerns and document repair needs accurately
- Recommend maintenance and repair services based on vehicle needs
- Prepare repair orders and communicate estimates, timelines, and recommendations clearly
- Maintain consistent communication with customers regarding vehicle status updates
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure efficient workflow and accurate repairs
- Review completed work with customers and explain services performed
- Help maintain high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores
- Follow dealership and manufacturer policies and procedures
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing daily service traffic
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of automotive service advisor experience in an automotive service environment preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Computer proficiency and ability to learn dealership software systems
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Automotive knowledge is required

Schedule
This is a full-time position. Usual hours of work are Monday through Friday from 7:15 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with rotating Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
