Senior Accountant

We are seeking a Senior Accountant for a full-time, on-site role located in Cassopolis, MI. The Senior Accountant will manage and oversee daily accounting activities, including financial reporting, reconciliation of accounts, budgeting, cost analysis, and compliance with accounting standards. This role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, preparing accurate financial documents, and driving process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and accuracy. The individual is expected to maintain confidentiality, comply with corporate policies, and provide strategic insights to support business growth.

• Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and cost analysis
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, compliance regulations, and reconciliation of accounts
• Excellent organizational skills, accuracy in detail-oriented work, and analytical problem-solving capabilities
• Experience with accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, along with strong technical and systems knowledge
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide well-documented financial insights
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred
• Ability to work on-site in Cassopolis, MI
• Prior experience in manufacturing or specialty chemicals industries is a plus
