What You Will Do: As a Special Education Teacher at Chrysalis, you will play a crucial role in creating an inclusive, engaging, and supportive educational environment for students with special needs. You will work collaboratively with students, families, general education teachers, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that meet the unique needs of each student. Specific duties include: Embodying the mission of the school in everything you do. Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' specific needs. Providing direct instruction and intervention in a small group or one-on-one setting. Modifying curriculum and instructional materials to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. Assessing student progress regularly and adjusting teaching methods accordingly. Collaborating with classroom teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success.
