RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION:
Lead all aspects of this job with a core safety mindset and contribute to ongoing
safety initiatives/improvement projects.
To support the vision, mission and guiding principles of the company.
While performing any procedure, all associates and contract personnel must
observe applicable Safety, Health, Quality and Environmental rules and guidelines.
The use of appropriate personal protective equipment is required.
Attend and participate in training opportunities and seminars relevant to this position.
Adhere to appropriate company operating procedures, benefit rules, employment,
safety and quality policies.
Actively participate in CLEAN initiatives and culture.
Oversee all activities for staging & de-staging raw materials for production listed on a
batch card for a particular area or work station.
Staging:
o Touch base with department leader to determine which batch cards need
to be staged
o Retrieve requested item #, lot # and pounds (to the nearest container
weight) per the batch card
o Confirm each container is marked with item #, lot # and weight
o Stage all batch card ingredients together. Ensure skids are marked with
work order number.
De-staging:
o Once the production operator has completed the work order. Any raw
material left over will be placed in the “De-Staging Area”

o Operator to ensure each container is marked with appropriate item #, lot #
and pounds prior to placing in de-staging area
o Material Handler (MH) will return raws to an inventory location
o MH will confirm in Acumatica if the material has a previous inventory
location. If it does, that will be entered on a move sheets as the “from”
location. “To” location will be the location material is being sent to.
o Move sheet can either be updated by MH, or sent to Inventory Manager to
complete in Acumatica.
MH will work with Receiving department to ensure new receipts are sent to an
appropriate location. If this is done at receipt, the Receiving Coordinator will add the
inventory location. If the location is chosen after receipt, the MH will ensure the
location is updated in Acumatica or move sheet will be sent to Inventory Manager to
complete.
Assist in performing cycle counts as directed
MH’s for Dry Side & Liquid Side will cross train to cover for each other as needed
Cross train in Shipping & Receiving to assist if necessary
Maintain a clean and orderly work area at all times.
Assist in organizing inventory, both raw materials and finished product.
Assist in training other production associates in the area of shipping and receiving as
needed.
Any other duties as assigned.

Competent / comfortable with use of information technology.
State accredited high school diploma, GED, and / or comparable work experience.
Prior work experience in shipping and logistics related job roles.
Knowledge of shipping and receiving office-related responsibilities.
Basic math skills.
Organizational and multi-tasking skills.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision,
peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the associate may be occasionally exposed
to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.
Mental and physical dexterity to facilitate machine operation and physical ability to
obtain respirator clearance.
The noise level in the work environment is often loud.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
