Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Operator at Chromalloy located in Carson City, MI. The CNC Operator will be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision parts based on engineering specifications. Key tasks include setting up and programming machinery, ensuring quality control during production, inspecting finished products for defects, and troubleshooting any machine or process-related issues. Collaboration with engineers and adherence to safety and quality standards will be critical in this role. Sign on Bonus $1000. Shift differential payments $1-$4 p/hr.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Machine Operation and operation of CNC equipment
- Experience in Quality Control processes and ensuring product compliance
- Competency in Machining and Milling techniques
- Familiarity with operation and maintenance of Machinery
- Strong attention to detail and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of engineering drawings and specifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining is a plus
- Previous experience in aerospace or manufacturing is preferred
