Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers with daily classroom activities, lesson planning, and curriculum development tailored to early childhood education standards.
- Support children’s social-emotional growth by managing behavior with positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies.
- Provide attentive toddler care and preschool supervision, ensuring safety, engagement, and developmental appropriateness at all times.
- Help implement literacy education and foundational math activities that promote early intervention and cognitive development.
- Maintain classroom organization through effective classroom management and routine setup to foster a structured learning environment.
- Support children’s physical activity through teaching physical education exercises suitable for young learners.
- Communicate clearly with children, parents, and team members to ensure consistent understanding of each child's needs and progress.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, special education needs, and early intervention techniques.
- Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing literacy or math activities aligned with educational standards such as Montessori or standardized testing preparation.
- Classroom management skills with the ability to handle diverse behaviors effectively while maintaining a positive environment.
- Familiarity with classroom experience in private schools or daycare centers is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and engage effectively with children and families.

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
