What You'll Do
- Support the Assistant Teacher in the daily care of the children in the classroom.
- Ensure the classroom environment is safe, clean, and engaging, aligned with Georgia DECAL and Quality Rated standards.
- Collaborate with the team to implement an age-appropriate curriculum that promotes sensory exploration, early communication, and gross motor development.
- Observe and document developmental milestones and maintain regular communication with families.
- Comply with all licensing and program guidelines related to health, safety, and sanitation.
- Actively participate in staff meetings, professional development, and training required for Quality Rated compliance.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to Pass a Background Check
- Ability to meet all requirements under Georgia’s Bright from the Start and Quality Rated guidelines.
- Ability to be relied upon, work collaboratively as part of a team, and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire).
- CDA,TCC, or Paraprofessional certificate Required
