Position Overview
We are seeking one experienced Painting Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate has proven experience leading high-end residential painting crews and takes pride in detailed, professional work.
New hires will begin with a training period (approx. 1-2 months) working under multiple other senior foremen before transitioning to independently leading crews.
Pay rate structured on successful completion of projects as a foreman.
Projects are all primarily in San Francisco, Marin, East Bay and Napa Counties.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee high-end residential painting projects
- Manage time, crew coordination, and jobsite workflow
- Perform and train others in all phases of painting: brushwork, rolling, spraying, prep, masking, and finish application
- Work safely and efficiently at heights and on lifts
- Execute stain work, clear finishes (water- and solvent-based), and specialty coatings
- Manage and ensure quality control for high-gloss, cabinetry, and detailed finish work
- Communicate clearly with clients, project managers, and team members
- Maintain a clean, professional jobsite and uphold company standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of high-end residential painting experience
- Prior foreman or lead painter experience required
- Proficient with Benjamin Moore paints and products
- Skilled in both brush and spray application
- Knowledge of stain systems, clears, and cabinetry finishes
- Comfortable working at heights and operating lifts
- Must have own truck and basic hand tools
- Clean, professional appearance and proficient English communication
