Summary Description: This position is primarily responsible for sales of skis and related equipment, and assisting with inventory control to achieve the maximum profitability while continuing to provide the best-in-class guest service for which Christy Sports is known.

Job Responsibilities

• Generate sales for skis / boots / bindings by demonstrating excellent knowledge of the equipment and industry
• Boot fitting
• Maintain the high-standard for guest service
• Maintain merchandising of hard good product lines and store cleanliness standards
• Demonstrate the desire to succeed and grow within the company
• Other duties as may be assigned
  
  

Required Skills/Abilities

• Strong snowboard or ski background
• Prior retail sales experience in ski equipment
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experienced with POS systems preferred
• Must be able to communicate fluently in accurate spoken and written English
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to routinely lift merchandise, packages and other items of at least 25 pounds
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule to meet store needs, including holidays, nights and weekends

Budgeted range starts at: $18-$18.50/hour Commission . Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
