Summary Description: Reporting to the DC Assistant Manager and DC Manager, the Patio Distribution Supervisor supervises a staff to verify quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of patio products ready for distribution to stores, and oversees the distribution of products out of the warehouse by performing the duties outlined below.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise delivery vehicle drivers at the Distribution Center;
- Supervise a staff to put away all shipments of patio merchandise from vendors as well as from the stores to the Distribution Center;
- Receiving, documenting, and organizing the storage of all incoming and outgoing patio merchandise;
- Coordinate loading of patio merchandise on Christy Sports trucks for intra-store deliveries, and documentation of all outgoing transfers;
- Responsible for deliveries to customers;
- Driving company vehicles is required as part of delivery and transfer responsibilities;
- Control the flow of patio merchandise between back-stock area and the store; and,
- Other duties as may be assigned.
Skills/Abilities:
- Supervisory experience
- Must have good customer service skills
- Warehouse shipping/receiving background experience preferred
- Must be able to operate a truck (below CDL requirements)
- Must have a valid operators license and be able to obtain an approved driving background review
- Must be able to regularly lift 50 pounds
- Advanced computer skills
- English fluency both written and verbal
- Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as necessary
