Christy Media Solutions is partnering with a leading commercial audiovisual integration company to recruit a Service Technician for its South Florida operation.
This position offers the opportunity to work across a diverse range of commercial AV environments, providing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, break-fix support, and system servicing for clients across the Miami area. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting customer satisfaction while helping drive the continued growth of the company's service division.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventative maintenance and servicing of commercial AV systems.
- Respond to client service calls and troubleshoot system faults.
- Diagnose and resolve issues across installed AV environments.
- Deliver professional, client-facing support and communication throughout service visits.
- Maintain service documentation and reports.
- Uphold quality, safety, and operational standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, sales teams, and clients as required.
What We're Looking For
- Experience within the commercial AV industry.
- Familiarity with Crestron control systems and Q-SYS audio platforms.
- Experience servicing, troubleshooting, and supporting AV systems in corporate environments.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a genuine interest in fault-finding and issue resolution.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a wider team.
- Comfortable working in a variety of environments, including corporate offices, educational facilities, and other commercial settings.
Working Environment
- Primarily supporting clients throughout the Miami metropolitan area, with occasional travel further afield when required.
- Company vehicle and fuel card provided for service work.
- Predominantly standard business hours supporting corporate clients, with occasional out-of-hours work when necessary.
