Purpose of the Position
Under the direction of the Dining Warehouse Associate Senior, this position will perform duties to include but not limited to receiving and putting away daily deliveries in a timely manner.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Related to Position
- Knowledge of basic math skills
- Ability to read and write
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally to both supervisors and guests
- Ability to work independently as well as follow written and oral instructions
- Ability to work in congested work areas and areas where wet processes are used
- Ability to wear protective footwear
- Knowledge of safety and sanitization procedures
- Ability to work flexible schedule hours, with shifts starting as early as 5am
Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification Required
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent education/experience that equates to a high school diploma
Additional Consideration(s)
Education:
- Certified in ServSafe or an equivalent food safety program
- Valid driver’s license
Experience:
- Customer service experience
- Food service experience
- Warehouse experience, including moving, storing, and managing inventory
- Experience with workplace safety procedures
- Experience with cleaning/sanitization procedures
