Claims Assistant

Christiansen Trial Lawyers is seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Claims Assistant to join our growing team. This position is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day management of personal injury cases, maintaining client communication, and ensuring cases progress efficiently.

The ideal candidate is a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong communication skills, and can effectively manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining a high level of professionalism and client service.

Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with managing personal injury cases from intake through resolution.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, insurance companies, medical providers, and other involved parties.
• Provide clients with timely updates regarding their cases and respond to inquiries professionally.
• Coordinate and follow up on case-related matters to ensure timely progression.
• Request, organize, and maintain necessary case documents and records.
• Monitor case statuses, deadlines, and outstanding tasks.
• Maintain accurate and detailed information within the firm's case management system.
• Work closely with attorneys and other team members to ensure efficient case handling.
• Assist with preparing correspondence and other case-related documentation.
• Perform additional administrative and case management duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Previous experience in personal injury, legal case management, or a related field preferred.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with computers and general office software.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Professional, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional client service.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in a personal injury law firm.
• Familiarity with legal case management software, including Clio.
• General understanding of personal injury claims and legal procedures.
