As a Pharmacy Cashier, you will be a vital part of our commitment to exceptional customer service and patient care. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing the pharmacy for daily operations and maintaining a clean, sanitized workspace by sterilizing surfaces and equipment
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers at the register
- Conduct accurate and efficient point-of-sale (POS) transactions
- Provide courteous, prompt, and knowledgeable service
- Greeting customers with professionalism and warmth, answering inquiries, and guiding them through pharmacy procedures
- Receiving and verifying prescriptions in a secure and compliant manner
- Assisting with the sale and maintenance of over-the-counter (OTC) products and providing informed support to customers
- Performing administrative duties such as data entry, record-keeping, and assisting with inventory as needed
- Supporting pharmacists and technicians in delivering high-quality care while upholding confidentiality and compliance standards
- Contributing to a positive team environment and carrying out additional tasks as assigned by supervisors
Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
· Prior experience with online prescription platforms or pharmacy management systems, demonstrating confidence in navigating digital tools to support pharmacy operations
· Foundational understanding of medications, dosage forms, and pharmacyterminology, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a customer-facing environment
· Familiarity with pharmacy regulations, insurance workflows, and compliancestandards, with an appreciation for the importance of accuracy, confidentiality, and patient safety
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
