ChristianaCare's Procurement Team is searching for a Buyer to ensure timely delivery of equipment and supplies for the System, utilizing a basic understanding of Supply Chain Operations.

- Prioritizes work to ensure PO acknowledgements and address discrepancies by alerting Sourcing team/Item Analyst on pricing and UOM item related issues.
- Researches unconfirmed purchase orders and obtain estimated delivery date.
- Communicates backorders by partnering with Supplier, Caregiver and Sourcing team as needed.
- Coordinates CCHS Distribution Center returns with Materials and the System’s departments as needed.
- Ability to Issue Purchase Orders in accordance with ChristianaCare policies.
- Documents all issues and resolutions as necessary to ensure adequate audit trail is maintained.
- Serves as a resource for the Procurement team.
- Demonstrates compliance with CCHS and departmental policies and procedures and mandatory education requirements.
- High School Diploma required.
- Three years of business/secretarial experience required. Familiarity with commercial purchasing processes and terminology desired.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
- Ability to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work as a team to complete the task at hand.
- Exceptional data entry and computer skills required, including Microsoft Office Products.
- Knowledge of Workday is preferred.
- Ability to take direction and work unsupervised.
- Ability to prioritize work as necessary to meet changing deadlines.
- Skill in oral and written communication.
Hourly Pay Range: $22.29 - $33.44
This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
