Permits Supervisor

Christian Home Services is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Permits Supervisor to join our team at our West Chester, PA location. This position plays a critical role in supporting our Philadelphia Regional Team by overseeing the permit process for residential HVAC installations from start to finish, ensuring all work is properly permitted, inspected, and closed out in a timely manner.

The Permits Supervisor will also manage HVAC warranty registrations and processing, ensuring customers receive the full benefits of manufacturer warranties while maintaining accurate records and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Permit Management

• Oversee the permit process for all residential HVAC installation projects throughout the Philadelphia region.
• Ensure permits are submitted, approved, tracked, and closed out in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with local municipalities, inspectors, and internal teams to schedule inspections and resolve permit-related issues.
• Maintain accurate permit records and ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.
• Monitor permit status and provide updates to management, installers, and project coordinators.

HVAC Warranty Administration

• Manage the registration and processing of manufacturer warranties for all HVAC installations.
• Ensure warranty documentation is completed accurately and submitted within required deadlines.
• Maintain organized records of warranty registrations, confirmations, and supporting documentation.
• Work with manufacturers and customers to resolve warranty-related inquiries when needed.

Team Coordination & Support

• Collaborate with installation managers, dispatch, customer service representatives, and field technicians to ensure seamless project completion.
• Develop and maintain procedures to improve permit and warranty processing efficiency.
• Assist in identifying and resolving project delays related to permitting or inspections.
• Generate reports and track key metrics related to permit completion and warranty registrations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in permit coordination, construction administration, project coordination, HVAC operations, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office software.
• Familiarity with municipal permitting processes and residential construction is preferred.
• HVAC industry experience is strongly preferred.
