Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Schedule Coordinator to join our dental/medical office team. The Schedule Coordinator plays a critical role in maintaining a productive and well-organized schedule, ensuring patients receive timely care and follow-up. This position involves patient communication, scheduling, and follow-through to support both patient satisfaction and practice efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule appointments for patients, including hygiene, treatment, and follow-up visits.
- Contact patients with pending treatment to schedule necessary procedures.
- Ensure every patient leaves with their next hygiene appointment booked.
- Proactively manage and call the unscheduled hygiene list to secure future recare appointments.
- Review and follow up on the Accounts Receivable (AR) report to support financial and scheduling workflows.
- Request reviews from satisfied patients and encourage referrals to help grow the practice.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and scheduling notes.
- Collaborate closely with clinical and administrative team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive and professional attitude during all patient interactions.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a dental or medical office is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organized, self-motivated, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with dental/medical practice software Dentrix is a plus.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.

Mon-Fri 8:30 AM-5:00 PM
