Duties

• Monitor student progress through regular assessments, standardized testing, and performance data analysis to tailor instruction effectively.
• Incorporate educational technology tools and learning technology platforms to enhance reading instruction and student engagement.
• Foster positive classroom management strategies that promote respectful behavior, active participation, and a safe learning environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians through parent-teacher conferences, progress reports, and digital communication channels to support student success.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers on curriculum development, lesson planning, and school-wide initiatives such as early intervention programs or Montessori methods.

Requirements

• Proven experience teaching early childhood or elementary school students, particularly in first-grade reading instruction.
• Strong knowledge of literacy education techniques, curriculum implementation, and classroom management strategies.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
• Experience working with children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education or behavioral management support.
• Familiarity with learning technology integration, library services, and educational compliance regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching methods based on individual learning styles and child development stages.
• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; additional certifications in early childhood education or special education are preferred.
