What are the responsibilities and job description for the MULES Operator position at Christian County MO?
The Christian County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for a full-time M.U.L.E.S. operator in the Warrant Division. The M.U.L.E.S. Operator is responsible for a variety of tasks including but not limited to; answering phones, operating of the MULES computer (Missouri Uniform Law Enforcement System), processing warrant returns and prisoner transport packets, entering warrants, orders of protection, stolen articles, guns, missing persons, and stolen or towed vehicles, and interacting with the courts, jail, and other agencies. This position will be evening or overnight shifts with rotating weekends off.
Education / Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- Experience preferred, but willing to train the right individual.
The M.U.L.E.S. Operator must be professional, courteous, detail oriented, have strong computer and keyboarding skills, and communicate well with others. This position must be able to pass a criminal background check, a drug test (and will be subject to random drug testing).
