Christensen Machinery & Supply in Menominee, MI is looking to hire a Tool Processing/ PVD Coating Technician. The successful applicant will be responsible for entering cutting tool orders into the system, operating the PVD coating system, and packing orders for shipping once completed.
Job Duties:
· Receive and sort incoming tools
· Enter tool orders in ERP system
· Match tools to orders once completed
· Prepare labels for outgoing tooling
· Pack orders for shipping
· Prep tooling for PVD coating
· Operate PVD coating system
· Load and unload coating vessel
Qualifications:
· Experience using software programs including Microsoft Word and Excel required
· Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
· Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, vendors, and other employees of the organization
· Good Vision for inspecting tooling
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Knowledge of cutting tools would be very helpful
· ERP system knowledge a plus
