Middle School Science Teacher

Christ the King School seeks a dynamic, faith-filled educator to serve as a Part-Time/Full-Time Middle School Science Teacher for grades 6–8. The ideal candidate will inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of scientific discovery while integrating Catholic values into daily instruction and supporting the holistic development of each student. Part-time/Full-Time schedule to be determined. Primary Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based science instruction (e.g., life science, earth science, and/or physical science) aligned with diocesan and state frameworks Foster a structured, respectful, and faith-centered classroom environment Incorporate inquiry-based learning, laboratory experiences, and hands-on investigations Integrate Catholic teachings, emphasizing the harmony between faith and reason Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs Assess student learning regularly and maintain accurate academic records Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress Collaborate with faculty to support interdisciplinary learning and student success Ensure safe and proper use of laboratory materials and equipment
