French Teacher

Christ the King School, a Catholic elementary school serving students in grades PreSchool through 8th grade, is seeking a part-time (0.5 FTE) or Full-Time (1.0 FTE) French Teacher for the 2026–2027 academic school year. The successful candidate will be committed to the mission of Catholic education and dedicated to fostering both academic excellence and spiritual growth in young learners. The Part-Time/Full-Time French Teacher is responsible for providing high-quality instruction in the French language and culture to elementary students. The teacher will create a supportive and engaging learning environment that promotes the development of communication skills while integrating the values and traditions of the Catholic faith. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Plan and deliver standards-based French language instruction appropriate to elementary grade levels Foster student engagement through interactive and communicative teaching methods Integrate cultural awareness of French-speaking countries into the curriculum Assess student progress and maintain accurate records of achievement Differentiate instruction to support a range of learning needs and abilities Collaborate with faculty and administration to support school-wide goals Maintain a classroom environment consistent with Catholic values and school expectations Participate, as appropriate, in faculty meetings, school events, and professional development Support the religious mission of the school through participation in liturgies, prayer, and faith-based activities
