People

  • Receives primary direction from the Associate Head of School for Operations & Advancement regarding the prioritization of duties and responsibilities.
  • Manages the Advancement Assistant, providing guidance and oversight to ensure that admissions testing, record-keeping, and related processes are accurate, efficient, and aligned with the school’s standards of excellence.
  • Demonstrates a positive, team-oriented mindset by collaborating with fellow administrative team members to effectively serve and support the needs of our school community.
  • Serves as the staff partner to the President of the Parent Teacher Partnership (PTP), providing support, guidance, and resources to ensure the success of their initiatives, events, and programs that enhance the experiences of teachers, students, and staff.
  • Leads a team of staff members who serve as the Admissions Committee, preparing for meetings, facilitating effective and efficient discussions, and ensuring clear communication to support informed decision-making throughout the admissions process.
     

Essential Functions

  • Recruitment and Enrollment: Develop and implement strategies to attract, engage, and enroll mission-aligned families.
  • Admissions Process Management: Oversee all aspects of the admissions process, including inquiries, tours, applications, assessments, and acceptance decisions.
  • Community Engagement: Build relationships with prospective families, feeder schools, and community organizations to promote the school’s mission and values.
  • Event Coordination: Plan and execute admissions-related events, such as open houses, information sessions, and new family orientations.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date admissions records, reporting on enrollment metrics and trends to guide decision-making.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with faculty, staff, and leadership to ensure alignment of admissions efforts with the school’s goals and mission.
  • Onboarding New Students and Families: Help prepare families to begin their journey at CCA ensuring they feel welcome and prepared with all necessary information and resources. 
  • Retention: Support efforts to nurture relationships with current families to enhance retention and foster a sense of belonging.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and provide guidance to admissions support staff, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service.

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in admissions, enrollment management, or related areas, ideally in a private or Christian school setting.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage teams and collaborate across departments.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships and present the school’s mission effectively.
  • Proficient in data management and technology, including admissions software and office tools.
  • Customer service orientation with a focus on relationship building and providing exceptional service to prospective families.
  • Alignment with the school’s Christian mission and values, with a heart for serving the school community.

 

Systems

  • Utilizes Microsoft Office 365 suite of products, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Word, Excel, and SharePoint. 
  • Will utilize designated tools and applications to manage student and family records (FACTS). 


Physical Requirements 

  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch as needed.
  • Ability to reach, lift, carry, and push objects up to 30 pounds.
  • Ability to perform tasks that involve a range of motion from waist to chest, shoulders, and above.
     

Working Conditions and Environment 

  • Work is typically performed in a school and office environment.
  • Minimal physical risk or exposure to hazardous conditions.
