Chris’s German Auto is one of the most established Porsche and European specialty shops in the Pacific Northwest, with over 40 years of legacy, a 4.9-star reputation, and a loyal, high-end client base.

This is not a high-volume, fast-turn shop.
It’s a precision-driven, premium environment where customers expect professionalism, clarity, and confidence.

The team is strong. The reputation is established. The demand is there.

Now we’re looking for the right Shop Manager to lead the operation and continue building something exceptional.

Compensation

• $100,000 – $120,000 base salary
• 15% of net profit
• $150,000 total earning potential, with strong upside

• Paid Time Off accrued at 1 hour for every 40 hours worked (approximately 2 weeks per year), plus additional paid sick leave

What this role looks like

This is not a “keep the day moving” position.

You are responsible for the performance of the shop.

That includes:

• Owning monthly P&L and net profitability
• Leading and developing Service Advisors
• Driving sales performance and estimate conversion
• Maintaining strong margins without relying on discounts
• Building structure, consistency, and accountability across the team
• Partnering with ownership to implement processes and drive growth

• Guiding high-value repair conversations
• Supporting advisors in presenting and closing large estimates
• Reinforcing value without discounting

This role requires:

• Clear communication and strong presence
• The ability to lead without creating friction
• Coaching and developing advisors
• Holding standards while maintaining a positive culture
• Making hiring and staffing decisions when needed

This is an active leadership role, not a passive one.
