Responsibilities
- Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and wrecker trucks, to recover and transport vehicles efficiently.
- Load, unload, and secure vehicles using appropriate equipment such as straps, chains, or forklifts when necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients during roadside assistance or vehicle pickup.
- Manage conflict situations professionally, ensuring safety for all parties involved.
- Maintain accurate logs of all recoveries, loads, unloads, and vehicle details for record-keeping purposes.
- Perform routine inspections and basic automotive repairs to ensure tow truck safety and readiness.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with tow truck operation is preferred.
- Experience operating flatbed tow trucks, forklifts, or other heavy-duty equipment is a plus.
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and adherence to traffic laws.
- Ability to load & unload vehicles efficiently while following safety protocols.
- Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
- Ability to use phone software and complete administrative recordkeeping tasks.
