The Opportunity
We are looking for a Financial Planning Specialist (CFP or CFP-track) to support our advisory team by building and analyzing financial plans behind the scenes.
This role is ideal for someone who:
- Loves the technical side of financial planning
- Enjoys building strategies and running scenarios
- Prefers working behind the scenes vs. being client-facing
- Wants to grow into a larger planning or advisory role over time
This is not a client-facing advisor role the primary focus is planning, analysis, and strategy development.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain comprehensive financial plans
- Run planning scenarios (retirement income, tax strategies, Roth conversions, Social Security, etc.)
- Take ownership of financial plan preparation and analysis
- Support advisors by preparing strategies and recommendations
- Conduct research on planning strategies, products, and opportunities
- Assist in preparing materials for client meetings
- Support ongoing updates and refinements to client plans
- Help ensure accuracy and consistency across all planning work

Qualifications
- CFP® or actively pursuing CFP preferred
- 3 years of financial planning or paraplanning experience required
- Experience using eMoney required
- Strong understanding of retirement, tax, and investment planning strategies
- Experience building or supporting comprehensive financial plans
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and organization
Compensation & Benefits
- $85,000 – $100,000 base salary (depending on experience)
