Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Bistro Attendant to join our team at Courtyard by Marriott. This role is responsible for providing excellent food and beverage service to guests in our Bistro, ensuring a welcoming and efficient dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, courteous service
- Take food and beverage orders and process payments accurately
- Prepare and serve menu items such as breakfast items, coffee, and light dinner options
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Bistro, kitchen, and dining areas
- Stock supplies and ensure all items are readily available for service
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Operate POS system and handle cash/credit transactions
- Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous food service, barista, or hospitality experience preferred but not required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math and cash handling skills
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
