Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialists to join our Delinquent Earned Income Tax team. These positions are temporary-to-permanent opportunities for candidates who have strong computer skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
The team is responsible for reviewing taxpayer accounts and documentation to identify potential delinquent Earned Income Tax balances. Specialists will review account information, process documentation requests, and assist with the appropriate collection process when a tax balance is confirmed.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong data entry and computer skills who enjoys working with detailed information and learning new systems.
Responsibilities
- Review taxpayer accounts and documentation to identify potential delinquent Earned Income Tax.
- Accurately verify taxpayer information and account details.
- Review and process tax documents and reconciliation requests.
- Prepare and process correspondence requesting additional taxpayer documentation.
- Navigate multiple computer applications and screens to complete daily tasks.
- Enter and maintain information accurately in proprietary systems.
Qualifications
- Strong computer skills and comfort learning new software systems.
- Strong data entry skills with an emphasis on accuracy and productivity.
- Ability to type approximately 45–60 words per minute and 8,000–10,000 keystrokes per hour.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Ability to review information, identify discrepancies, and determine appropriate action.
