Position Summary
We are looking for a skilled Electrical Panel Builder / Machine Wire Technician to join our manufacturing and engineering team. This position is responsible for both assembling and wiring electrical control panels and completing machine wiring on industrial equipment. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, attention to detail, and takes pride in building high-quality, reliable machinery.
Position Responsibilities
- Assemble and wire electrical control panels according to electrical schematics and layout drawings
- Wire machinery and equipment following UL 508A and NFPA 79 standards
- Mount and connect sensors, motors, drives, PLCs, contactors, and other electrical components
- Route and terminate wiring neatly and accurately within both panels and machines
- Perform point-to-point continuity checks and assist in machine power-up and testing
- Collaborate with engineering and assembly teams to resolve wiring or design issues
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Position Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree preferred
- 2 years of experience in electrical panel building or machine wiring
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Familiarity with UL 508A and NFPA 79 standards preferred
- Proficient with hand tools, crimpers, multimeters, and other electrical tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce clean, organized wiring
- Dependable, safety-minded, and able to work effectively in a team environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
