Position Summary:Choice House is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Janitorial Staff member to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in our sober living homes and inpatient treatment facility. This role is essential in creating a safe, healthy, and supportive environment for our residents.We have a location in Gunbarrel/Boulder and our sober living homes are located in Louisville. Transportation is required for this position.Schedule:Part-time - schedule to be determined and will be within normal business hours.Key Responsibilities:Clean and sanitize common areas, resident rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, living spaces, hallways, offices, and clinical areasSweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all assigned areasEmpty trash and replace linersClean windows, mirrors, and glass surfacesFollow infection control procedures and proper sanitation standardsRestock cleaning, paper, and hygiene supplies as neededSafely use and store cleaning chemicals according to guidelinesReport maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply needs to managementMaintain professional boundaries with residents and clientsEnsure confidentiality and respect privacy at all timesQualifications:Prior janitorial, custodial, or environmental services experience preferredExperience in healthcare, residential, or treatment settings is a plusAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyReliable transportation - REQUIREDAbility to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, bending, lifting, repetitive motion)Strong attention to detailBackground check and drug screening requiredPreferred Qualities:Knowledge of infection control standards and proper disinfecting proceduresStrong reliability and consistent attendanceAbility to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in a treatment environmentCompensation:Hourly rate based on experience.Work Environment:This position operates within residential sober living homes and a structured inpatient treatment facility.
